Gary graduated from Pleasant Gardens High School in 1960 and went on to Western Carolina University where he graduated in 1964. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Cherry Springs Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Beam Funeral Service in Marion, NC. A funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Poulas officiating.
